Tropical Fruit Salad (Enhanced)

This version focuses on vibrant tropical flavors, balanced sweetness, and a touch of sophistication.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium oranges, peeled, segmented, and cut in half

  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch chunks

  • 1 mango, peeled, sliced, and cubed

  • 1 small lime, juiced

  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut, lightly toasted

  • 1/4 cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier (optional)

  • 2 tsp honey or agave syrup (for balance)

  • 1 starfruit, sliced (for decoration)

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, gently toss together the oranges, bananas, kiwis, pineapple, and mango.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey (or agave), and Cointreau/Grand Marnier (if using).

  3. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and gently fold again.

  4. Garnish with starfruit slices for a festive touch. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
