Tropical Fruit Salad (Enhanced)
This version focuses on vibrant tropical flavors, balanced sweetness, and a touch of sophistication.
Ingredients:
2 medium oranges, peeled, segmented, and cut in half
2 bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
1 mango, peeled, sliced, and cubed
1 small lime, juiced
1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut, lightly toasted
1/4 cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier (optional)
2 tsp honey or agave syrup (for balance)
1 starfruit, sliced (for decoration)
Directions:
In a large bowl, gently toss together the oranges, bananas, kiwis, pineapple, and mango.
In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey (or agave), and Cointreau/Grand Marnier (if using).
Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and gently fold again.
Garnish with starfruit slices for a festive touch. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
