Swedish Almond Crescent Cookies

Delicate and nutty, these cookies melt in your mouth.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup finely ground almonds

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla.

  2. Gradually mix in flour and ground almonds to form a dough.

  3. Scoop 1-tablespoon portions and shape into crescents. Place on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. 

  5. Cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
