Rum Balls

(Makes 6 dozen)

Ingredients

  • 6 tsp. rum

  • 2 cups flour

  • 4 tbsp. sugar

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 cups chopped pecans

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla

  • Powdered sugar (Confectioner's sugar)

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, and butter together until it resembles pie crust.

  2. Stir in nuts, vanilla, and rum.

  3. Roll into balls (1-1½ tsp. size).

  4. Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes.

  5. Roll in powdered sugar while warm, then roll in sugar again.
