Garlic Sautéed Asparagus

A quick and easy way to make asparagus shine with a hint of garlic and a little lemon for brightness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • Freshly grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bright green and just tender.

  3. Add the garlic in the last minute of cooking and sauté until fragrant.

  4. Season with salt and pepper, squeeze lemon juice over the top, and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
